David also took a special interest in fluid mechanics, lecturing on the aerodynamic principles underlying the 1980’s “Ground Effects” era of Formula 1 and conducting research, utilizing both practical wind tunnel tests and complex computational fluid dynamics (CFD) models, on the drag-reducing effects of vortex generators for use in improving the fuel efficiency of tractor-trailers.

Upon graduating, David joined his family’s electronics manufacturing business, which his parents founded shortly after immigrating to the United States, where he worked as the Operations Manager of their upstate NY facility. In this role, David led his team to achieve record shipping numbers and doubled the size of the facility. He also spearheaded several strategic plans to advance business growth including implementing the 5S organization system, converting to an Industry 4.0 platform through increased automation, more capable software, and groundbreaking manufacturing techniques, and starting a Corporate Social Responsibility program.

In his free time, David enjoys playing tennis, boxing, riding his motorcycle, and boating and waterskiing on Lake George.

David’s newfound passion for law was ignited when he was involved in a legal dispute through work. After spending countless hours poring over discovery production and deposition transcripts, and discussing the case with the company’s attorneys, he realized how fun litigation can be . . . for the lawyers, that is. After law school, David hopes to be a litigator and views his time as a law clerk at the Moskowitz Law Firm as a rare opportunity to learn from some of the best litigators in Florida, and in the industry, generally.
